Tranquil Minds Psychiatry offers psychiatric diagnostic assessments, lab orders, referrals, treatment plans, some talk therapy, and medication management for individuals 6 years old and older. 

Children with behavioral problems under the age of 6 years old tend to respond better to behavioral therapy options instead of medication management. 

Yes, Tranquil Minds Psychiatry is accepting most insurances:  Currently the following are being accepted:  Aetna, BCBS of MN and ND, Health Partners, Medicare, Medicaid, MHCP, UBH Medica, UCare, United Healthcare, Medica MN Preferred, Medica Medicare, Medica Select Care, MN Care, MN DSNP, Tricare (Health Net Federal Services), Veterans Affairs Coordinated Care Network Region 2.

Tranquil Minds Psychiatry is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. We are closed on weekends, major holidays, and occasionally other times so staff can refresh, renew, rejuvenate, and spend time with family and friends.

Tranquil Minds Psychiatry requires a 24- hour cancellation notice otherwise a $50.00 fee is charged.

In order to get you set up for an appointment the following information is needed:  Full name, date of birth, complete address, phone number, sex, Insurance information (Member ID# and Group #) or if self-pay, and all paperwork completed prior to your initial appointment. 

We do require a minimum of 48-hour notice for new patients, especially if insurance is being used.  This allows us time to verify insurance. Tranquil Minds Psychiatry will make every effort to get you in within a week from your initial notice.  Please note, we cannot contact you if you do not have voicemail set up or a valid phone number to call.  Also, please leave a message if you would like a call back.
